Trial & Error Wins Prestigious Team Model Award at 2025 FIRST® Championship!

We are thrilled to announce that Trial & Error, our incredible group of five young engineers, has proudly brought home the Team Model Award at the FIRST Championship – FLL Explore Category!

The Team Model Award celebrates teams that best demonstrate the engineering design process — from imaginative ideas to structured teamwork to beautifully built models. Trial & Error impressed judges with their creativity, problem-solving, and outstanding collaboration. Their project showcased not only innovation but also real-world engineering thinking at every step.

Throughout the season, these remarkable young engineers learned and strengthened critical 21st-century skills, including:

Team collaboration — working together, sharing ideas, and helping each other succeed

Creative problem-solving — designing, testing, and refining their model with perseverance

Project management — planning timelines, setting goals, and adapting along the way

Engineering fundamentals — understanding gears, sensors, simple machines, and how to turn ideas into working models

Presentation and communication skills — sharing their journey confidently with judges and peers

Their journey is proof that even at a young age, students can tackle engineering challenges with creativity, grit, and teamwork!

We are incredibly proud of the commitment, enthusiasm, and leadership each Trial & Error team member demonstrated. They are not just builders of LEGO models — they are builders of the future!

Interested in joining the excitement?
We are now recruiting for next season’s FIRST LEGO League Explore teams! If your child loves building, creating, solving puzzles, or dreaming up new inventions, they belong here. Help them ignite a passion for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) and become part of a community that celebrates innovation, teamwork, and fun.

Congratulations again, Trial & Error! Your hard work and imagination inspire us all.
